Watch over your child N.N., O Lord, as her/his days increase; bless and guide her/him wherever she/he may be; strengthen her/him when she/he stands; comfort her/him when discouraged or sorrowful; raise her/him up f she/he falls; and in her/his heart may your peace which passes understanding abide all the days of her/his life.
Dear Heavenly Father, we give you thanks for calling N.N. to the faithful ministry of in your church. We give you thanks for his/her loving and supportive ministry and for his/her selfless dedication to the church. May God the Father pour out His grace upon him/her and strengthen him/her by His loving presence. May the God the Son be Lord in all his/her ways; may Christ shepherd him/her, and in his/her heart may Jesus receive the praise. May God the Holy Spirit comfort him/her, and make him/her strong. We also thank you, Lord, for his/her family, for their generous heart and open hands. As they have shared their love, so shower them with your love and blessings. We ask these things in the name of Jesus our Mediator and Guide. Amen.
O God, you have so consecrated the covenant of marriage that in it is represented the spiritual unity between Christ and His Church: Send your blessing upon N. and N., who now renew their promises to each other, and grant them your grace, that they may so love, honour, and cherish each other in faithfulness and patience, in wisdom and true godliness, that their lives together may be a witness to your love and forgiveness, and that their home may be a haven of blessing and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. O Almighty and merciful God, who has commissioned your angels to guide and protect your children, be mindful, we pray, of those who travel by land, by sea, and by air. May your holy angels be their constant companions and may you grant them your traveling mercy. See them safely to their journey’s end and upon their return. And may Your peace which passes all understanding abide with them all the days of their life, for you are the Giver of all good things: through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
O God, by your grace you have called us in this Diocese to a goodly fellowship of faith. Bless our Bishop Philip and other clergy, and all our people. Grant that your Word may be truly preached and truly heard, your Sacraments faithfully administered and faithfully received. By your Spirit, fashion our lives according to the example of your Son, and grant that we may show the power of your love to all among whom we live; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
